The 3rd "Ta Kung Pao Cup" Three-on-Three Basketball Final Concludes at Pui Kiu College, Uniting Youth Power in the Greater Bay Area

On November 23, 2025, the grand final and awards ceremony of the 3rd "Ta Kung Pao Cup" Three-on-Three Basketball Tournament was successfully held at Pui Kiu College. This year's event reached a historic scale, bringing together nearly 250 youth teams from Hong Kong and Guangdong, with close to 300 players taking part in the competition. On the day of the finals, numerous players, coaches, and guests gathered to witness a vibrant and friendly sports celebration.

As a co-organizer and the venue for the finals, Pui Kiu College witnessed the players' fierce efforts and outstanding performances on the court. This year marked the first establishment of the Guangdong division, successfully extending the concept of "Sports for All" to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

During the awards ceremony, esteemed guests highly praised the significance of the event. Liu Zhen, Deputy Secretary for Culture, Sports, and Tourism, commended the players for showcasing their exceptional skills and sportsmanship, encouraging young people to cherish opportunities and strive for excellence. Ho Zhen-Ting, the President of the Hong Kong Sports Association and Olympic Committee, pointed out that such events are important practices for cultivating athletic talent in the Greater Bay Area. Li Da-Hong, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and the Publisher of Ta Kung Pao, remarked that the "Ta Kung Pao Cup" vividly embodies the concept of "Sports for All" among the youth, emphasizing that basketball has become a common language that transcends regions and unites people.
