Pui Kiu College x Community Partners Anti-Scam & National Security Education Activity Promoting Cross-Generational Integration

On 24 June 2025,  Grade 10 students of Pui Kiu College joined hands with the Sha Tin District Junior Police Call (JPC) and Senior Police Call (SPC), together with the Heung Yee Kuk, Sha Tin District Council members Mr. WONG Wai-shing, Mr. MOK Kam-kwei, and Ms. MOK Hei-man, to organise the themed activity “Pui Kiu Against Scams x Safeguarding National Security.” The event aimed to enhance both students’ and community elders’ understanding of anti-deception awareness and national security through interactive learning, building a safer campus and community environment.

The programme was rich and engaging, featuring diverse and innovative formats. In addition to screening an anti-deception educational video produced by our students, the event also included a national security talk and a variety of interactive, educational activities. Elderly participants and students were grouped together to take part in an exciting National Security Knowledge Quiz. They also learned to identify common scam tactics through a series of well-designed anti-deception games such as Anti-Scam Whisper Challenge and Truth or Trick Mission, creating a lively and harmonious atmosphere.

Throughout the activity, students actively engaged with elders from the district, distributing gift bags and anti-scam leaflets as a gesture of care and community responsibility. The event not only strengthened cross-generational connections but also made anti-deception knowledge and national security awareness more accessible and memorable through experiential learning.
